Carefully crafted, using the latest research in medical hypnosis she guides clients to become joint authors of their planned Refreshing Minds strategy, teaches them self hypnosis and other techniques in order to increase their control, confidence and calm whatever the situation.

The techniques used at Refreshing Minds combine the most effective elements of evidence based mind/body medicine, psychoneuroimmunology, cognitive neuroscience and their synergy and applications within the use of medical hypnosis. In effect using the 'ideal medicine' in the 'hypnosis syringe'.

Beverley qualified as a dental surgeon in 1983, went into private dental practice and across the following twenty years gained invaluable experience both clinically in the surgery and business wise in the boardroom. In 1994, after observing the practical effects of patients' mood and outlook on their comfort and recovery rates, she turned to hypnosis and obtained her first qualification in clinical hypnosis with the British Society of Medical and Dental Hypnosis. From then on she used hypnosis to great effect with many patients in the dental surgery, and this in turn together with her specialist interests in mind/body medicine served as a springboard for the origin of Refreshing Minds
